What happens when I retire?

Pre-retirement courses help members to make informed retirement decisions.

Warwickshire Pension Fund in collaboration with Affinity Connect  are offering pre-retirement online courses, to all staff who are members of the LGPS.

To support our LGPS scheme members through their retirement planning and decision making, we have arranged for Affinity Connect to run 2-and-a-half-hour pre-retirement online courses.

This course is aimed at those who are:

• Members of the Local Government Pension Scheme
• Considering retirement or going to be taking their pension benefits in the next few years
• Looking to understand their options and how to plan for a financially secure retirement

The course will explore key topics to consider when planning your retirement, including:

• Lifestyle and retirement income
• The State pension
• Your workplace pension
• Savings and investments
• Retirement taxation
• Estate planning

Booking your place

To book your place visit the Affinity Connect registration website.

Booking confirmation emails come directly from Affinity Connect and can sometimes be blocked by security settings, so please check your junk email.
